Driver's side window would go down but intermittent going up, obviously was eventually going to be stuck down. The center console switch was bad. It's a complete unit (4 window switches and two mirror switches.) You can find online info on how to remove center console and replace. It's not too hard. The part is genuine Volvo OEM, so no concerns there. A lot cheaper than having the shop do it.
