AEM ENGINE POSITION MODULE -- Dual optical trigger style; Elastomer module material, black module finish, billet aluminum housing material, natural housing finish, iron gear material; Made from 6061 T-6 billet aluminum; Replaces an engine's distributor and allows for the use of coil-on-plug or wasted-park ignition systems on popular race engines; Provides precise engine position using dual zero-speed optical sensors, which offer the advantage of immediate signal generation regardless of engine speed; Easily adapts to any positive-drive, half-engine speed device such as a cam or distributor drive; Can be used with any aftermarket engine management system that recognizes the common 24 and 1 pattern for crank and cam signals; Features unique shock absorbing Elastomer drive system that effectively eliminates the potential for ignition timing deviation and protects them from vibration; Requires AEM engine management software for installation; Legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used on high ways; With AEM's limited 12-month warranty.
