Centric
Founded over a decade ago, Centric Parts is known as a premier manufacturer and supplier of high-quality aftermarket brake parts and systems that are suited for anyone driving anything between top-of-the-line ultra-performance vehicles and everyday "ordinary" cars. Superior performance, top-quality, and value for money are the principles that guide the design and production of all of Centric's brake products.
The beauty of Centric lies in the diversity of its product line and the thoroughness with which it tests and develops these products. Each Centric product is perfect for on-track or on-street applications and neither compromise on quality. The brand draws a lot of its experience from its own Chief Executive, Dino Crescentini, who is an accomplished racer with the Global Motorsports Group team in the SCCA SPEED World Challenge Championships. That and smartly banking on a talent pool of highly-skilled and seasoned experts in the automotive industry has produced products that are of the best quality. A glance at any review site readily confirms this.
Today the company boasts of numerous warehouses and manufacturing plants. That is an impressive feat considering its humble origin in Southern California. Proving to be ever the innovators, Centric is expanding into the performance market. This move was cemented by the acquisition of StopTech and Poweslot between 2006 and 2007.

Centric Premium Brake Pads
PosiQuiet brake friction features either precision cut or shaved backing plates and mechanically attached shims; these small details ensure proper fitment in the caliper and virtually eliminate noise associated with pad vibration. In addition to these features Centric Parts has added a scorching process to all of its PosiQuiet brake pads. This additional process forces any impurities out of the friction material and pre-burnishes the pads to greatly accelerate the break-in process.
» 100% scorched for easy bed-in.
» 100% shimmed.
» Linear response both cold and hot; never "grabby."
» Quiet Engineered™ to reduce noise
» Less dust than factory NAO pads or harsh aftermarket semi-met materials.
C-Tek brake pads feature a specially formulated metallic friction compound and are available for most applications import and domestic.
StopTech Street Performance brake Pads are engineered to meet the demands of high performance driving situations while maintaining their ability to work in normal driving conditions. StopTech brake pads combine the benefits of premium street brake pads with aggressive friction formulas suitable for track day and autocross use. Para-Aramid composites deliver optimum stopping performance over a wide temperature range and are specially formulated to deliver linear response in both cold and hot conditions. All StopTech Brake pads are 100% positive molded and include OE designed shims to eliminate noise associated with brake pad vibration. In addition each StopTech brake pad is scorched to remove any impurities in the friction material. While this does not eliminate the need to bed-in new pads it does provide improved stopping power right out of the box.
Centric Parts carries a complete line of Original Equipment brake pads. We source all O.E. friction from leading suppliers including Sumitomo, Nissin, Textar, Pagid, DanBlock and Jurid. Each pad is manufactured utilizing O.E. processes and materials.
» O.E.M. or O.E.M. equivalent material formulations.
» Fine blank backing plates for proper caliper fitment.
» Notched for shims.
» Correct hardware installed including sensor wires.
» 100% Positive Molded
Centric Premium Brake Disc
Featuring a double disc ground, taper-free finish, Centric premium rotors are a cut above the competition. The double disc grinding ensures stable parallelism, eliminates run-outs, and provides near-perfect disc thickness variation (DTV). Its construction leaves a non-directional finish on the friction surface area that means more effective pad-rotor break-in. Centric premium rotors also ensure quieter and smoother stoppage.
