The Dorman expansion tank is an excellent choice when it comes to replacing the worn out one on your vehicle. An expansion tank is important if you want to save up on the coolant. As the engine heats up, the coolant expands, causing it to overflow and out it goes into the pavements. But that is not so with an expansion tank as the coolant will overflow into the expansion tank. The earlier cars can easily be integrated with expansion tanks, simply by mounting the tank near the radiator, connecting it to the overflow tube, and replacing the radiator cap. If your expansion tank is already inefficient, replace it with a new one. That way, it will be more practical on your side plus the chances of you damaging the environment will be decreased.
