"This part went on a 2006 Mazda MPV. It is difficult to get to in order to remove and replace. You have to remove the intake manifold which is a job in and of itself but I was doing that to change out the spark plugs and coils. It is worth replacing the PCV valve while you are changing out this breather tube.Tip when you get the intake manifold hoses and bolts uncoupled then pull out the intake manifold toward the front of the car so you can get easier access to the hose clamp for the existing hose. Then use a wrench and squeeze the hose clamp. It will lock in the open position then you can wrangle off the hose from the intake manifold. Once the intake manifold is removed from the engine bay then you can unclamp the hose clamp that is on the PCV valve side. Then pull the hose off the PCV valve.During installation attach the hose to the pcv valve in the same position. Unclamp the hose clamp by pulling off the blue plastic clip. Put the intake manifold back but don t bolt it down. Reinstall the other end of the breather hose onto the intake manifold then use a wrench and squeeze the hose clamp that will release it and attach it to the hose."posted by: Cheesie on April 7, 2014view all 3 reviews
