"I was given a one owner, 148,000 mile 1986 Acura Legend (the first year for them) that sat in a field for a year. The charging light came on intermitently and everyone told me the "cure" was a new alternator. One mechanic I trust said because it sat for a while in a field it was probably the brushes. While he was looking at it with the light on he walked over and thumpted the alternator and the light went out. He looked at me and said the brushes are sticking. NO ONE else could supply me with the "brush kit" except you and it was OEM! I look forward to doing business with you in the future. Oh yes, the brushes were badly worn and the alternator is fine at a greatly reduced price from replacing the alternator." posted by: DLBSR on March 8, 2009
