"I have a 2008 Tacoma and really wanted to get a bluetooth connection for music and to talk on the phone through the car system. I wanted to keep the look stock. After lots of research I found this. The only visible thing is the switch. Ive never opened up my dash on the truck and had it working and put back together in 2.5 hours. I installed the mic on top of the steering wheel. It connects automatically and is super convenient. For phone conversations I can hear perfectly. The quality for the listeners is good. I hear it has a slight echo sometimes but never enough to prevent conversation. I think its as good as possible without a stock system with the car. Im really happy with the product and hope it works out for you." posted by: HolmTaco on August 29, 2013

"The install was time comsuming but directions fairly good. I get cant hear you very well reports. I have the mic placed as closely as possisible in front of me on the dash front. I will experiment with different places to see if this can be improved. With the volume all the way up I still would like it to be able to be turned up higher. I wish this unit would work as good as the factory hands free unit in other Toyotas.." posted by: toytacoma on May 7, 2013
