"The installer said it was a perfect fit and the same thickness as the original. What else do you want? :)This is a 99 Honda Civic passenger front fender." posted by: Chris on November 19, 2013

"Great bang for the buck. If youre looking for o.e. fit and finish this is not the answer but if youre trying to get a good repair at an inexpensive price Id strongly suggest taking a look at these inexspensive pieces. Just be willing to accept making adjustments and the reality that the fit will not be to exacting standards." posted by: shmickey on July 10, 2012 view all 4 reviews

"This fender arrived quickly and was an exact fit. Very easy to remove old fender and replace with this one. I just added a little gloss black from a spray can and it looked as good as out of the factory. I just recommend you spray it before putting it on vehicle to get a nice even coat." posted by: Hatchback Civic on August 9, 2013

One part that makes your Honda Civic appealing yet pedestrian-friendly at the same time is the fender. Located between the front bumper and door of your vehicle, this part helps keep dust and rocks from entering the braking system. Moreover, the fender also protects pedestrians and other vehicles from dirt and gravel that may be thrown by forward-moving tires. Though typically made from first-grade steel or fiberglass, this part eventually gets damaged because of minor collisions and road impediments. If this will happen, various car parts under the vehicle might break due to dirt or mud. Keep your Civic and other people safe from road debris by installing a durable replacement fender now.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ask APW
  • How much does a replacement Honda Civic fender cost?
Answer: Replacement Honda Civic fenders have different prices depending on several factors such as the finish and the materials used to manufacture the fenders. Primered fenders typically cost around 47 to 200 USD, while gel-coated replacements cost as much as 200 USD. When it comes to the materials used, steel fenders have prices ranging from 50 to 500 USD, while those that are made of fiberglass cost about 217 to 270 USD.
  • What are the tools needed to uninstall a dented Honda Civic fender?
Answer: To successfully remove a damaged fender on a Honda Civic, these tools should be on-hand: socket set, screwdriver, tire tool, and ratchet. A jack is also needed to raise the front side of the vehicle since Honda Civics have screws and bolts underneath the vehicle and behind the tires that hold the damaged fender in place.
  • What is the best way to remove the holes on a Honda Civic fender that are caused by rust?
Answer: Removing rust holes on fenders is easy. However, before doing it, make sure that these tools are on-hand: sander, primer, welding torch, metal-cutting saw, drill, file, and putty. Use these tools to cut the damaged areas and fabricate a replacement piece that will fit the Honda Civic. The new piece can be attached to the fender by using a welding torch, but don't forget to apply a thin layer of primer so that the repaired fender can be painted to hide the weld tacks.
  • Which is better: replacing or fixing a damaged Honda Civic fender?
Answer: This depends on how badly damaged the fender is. For instance, if the damage is a small dent, then it will be better to just repair it. A suction cup that is large enough to pull the dent and a hammer can be used to level and bend the dented part. However, if the fender is badly damaged, then it will be better to just replace it to save time and effort.
