"over all good product makes the ride stiffer and easy and simple installation, however not what I thought it was going to be but that's my fault"

PRO COMP SHORT ADD-A-LEAFS, STEEL, SET OF 2 -- 2.36 in. leaf spring width; Provides 1.5-2.5 in. lift; Includes 2 leafs and new centering bolts; Boosts the height and strength of a rear spring suffering from fatigue; Usable with a lift block kit; Not for use with steel or fiberglass monoleafs.
"There really werent any good instructions given fortunately leaf springs are a fairly simple design so I figured it out. Prior to adding this helper spring the rear of my truck sat lower than the front I had compensated by lowering the front via torsion bar adjustment. As the years went by I had to lower the front even more as the rear sagged more. After installing the helper the rear of my truck raised up 2- 2 1/2 then I was able to re-lift the front an appropriate amount. It made the rear only slightly stiffer unloaded but now has load carrying capacity as the springs were completely flat across even while unloaded. So it is a great method of renewing the life of your springs on the cheap. I am sure that the ride I am getting from my vehicle is very much closer to original when it was new."posted by: Restorer on November 1, 2013
