"Found the part online with no hassle. Checkout was easy and delivery was within a couple of days." posted by: britinatl on December 17, 2013

"This replacement mirror is much cheaper than a factory unit but does not fit nearly as well as the original. The glass is not completely flat and has a bit of distortion but the motor operates well. For the price I guess I shouldnt complain too much. I would recommend if youre on a budget." posted by: Dan on July 25, 2013 view all 28 reviews

"This product is great and it works in all directions. I bought one previous to this and it worked for two days then the motor stopped moving in and out and only worked up and down. The only doifference between this and stock is the words "objects in mirror are closer then they appear". Other then that great product." posted by: Tuck on April 14, 2008

In order to gain confidence in driving safely, a Chevrolet Venture driver needs a properly-installed car mirror. Having fully-working mirrors enable you to cruise the cities and towns with adequate safety precautions. The passenger-side mirror reflects a very broad line of sight, showing the area behind the car at all angles. Unlike the driver-side mirror, the Venture's passenger-side mirror uses a convex glass. This is why it's common to see the statement "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear" stamped on the mirror's glass. It aims to warn drivers of the size distortion and perceived distance of the objects behind the car.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ask APW
  • How can the glare be reduced in a Chevrolet Venture interior mirror?
Answer: To minimize the glare from bright lights, the 2003 Chevrolet Venture's rear-view mirror can be manually adjusted. When the interior mirror is in the night position, the glare is reduced and it becomes easier to see through the mirror. Simply pull the lever toward the driver to put it into night position, and push the lever away from the driver to return the mirror to day position.
  • How can the outside mirror in a Chevrolet Venture be adjusted?
Answer: The outside power mirrors on the Chevrolet Venture can be adjusted using the control located on the driver's door. Both driver's and passenger's side mirrors are controlled by this lever. To select the driver's side rear-view mirror, turn the control counterclockwise. And to select the passenger's side rear-view mirror, turn the control clockwise. Use the control to adjust either mirrors, so that they reflect a part of the car's side and a part of the area behind the car.
  • What are some common maintenance tips for a Chevrolet Venture's vanity mirror?
Answer: The vanity mirror, also called visor vanity mirror, is located in the sun visor of a 2000 Chevrolet Venture. One way to keep the mirror in good condition is by cleaning it regularly. Wiping the mirror's glass with a clean cloth removes dust and light stains on it. In addition, being cautious while moving the visor is also important, especially when flipping the sun visor up or down to access the vanity mirror. Pulling or pushing the visor too hard could shake the visor and break the mirror's glass.
  • What are the things to consider before replacing a non-retracting Chevrolet Venture mirror?
Answer: When a power mirror in a Chevrolet Venture doesn't retract, it could be a result of a fuse or wiring failure. There's no need to panic though. One possible solution is to replace the broken power mirror. However, it's important to ensure which part of the mirror is actually damaged before deciding on a replacement. In some cases, a mirror glass repair would be enough to restore the mirror's capability. But if the whole mirror assembly is damaged, then a replacement would be an obvious solution. Another thing to consider before starting the replacement is the list of tools to be used. Repairing and replacing a mirror is easy, involving only a few handy tools such as a socket wrench and a screwdriver. Remember that having the right tools and equipment is crucial for a successful car repair.
