"The replacement mirror looks really good and matches perfectly. The only issue Ive noticed is that it tends to shake a bit more than an OEM. Not to the point that it affects use but more of a distraction if you look at the mirror for more than two seconds. Overall worth the price." posted by: j0hnsy on April 1, 2013

"Used a Chilton's manual to see the process (instructions should be included in package for further customer satisfaction). Old mirror off = easy. Wiring harness was tough to extricate from car to unhook, tough to get new mirror to connect (due to small opening and positioning). Once wiring was done, three screws and a cover plate and it was on. Very happy with the mirror - looks very nice, functions well. I would recommend this as a replacement over a dealership or auto-body purchase without hesitation. Auto shops were quoting $150-ish for replacement, I got this for $40 including shipping. By the way - nice touch on using a soft cover for the mirror in the shipping box - very well preotected." posted by: traumadogg on September 12, 2008

The Chrysler Town & Country is a practical vehicle that that has earned a reputation as Chrysler's highest-ranking front-wheel-drive minivan. This model has captured the hearts of parents and single drivers alike due to its luxurious interiors and exteriors. The smallest of the elements including the Chrysler Town & Country mirror parts, contributed to this positive image of the minivan. Because of this, each of these parts should be maintained to keep the vehicle at its best appearance. A broken mirror makes the vehicle a total eyesore, which is very different from the Chrysler Town & Country reputation. Hence, it should be replaced as soon as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ask APW
  • Aside from the rearview and side mirrors, is there another Chrysler Town & Country mirror that should be essential in a family minivan?
Answer: One of the most important family features in a Chrysler Town & Country is the conversation mirror. It is a parental spyglass that allows the driver to see what is going on in each and every passenger seat. Known as a family minivan, it is important for the Chrysler Town & Country to promote communication and interaction among the family members. The conversation mirror is an important tool in that aspect as it provides parental control and authority even while driving.
  • What is an SUV glare?
Answer: Trucks and SUVs have higher bodies compared to other vehicle types. And because of this, their headlights are positioned almost on the same level as the rearview mirrors of most cars and vans including the Chrysler Town & Country mirror. This causes the light from the SUV's headlights to reflect to the rearview mirror of the vehicle in front. This occurrence brings temporary glare blindness to the driver. This is SUV glare. With the driver in this state, he or she will not be able to see for a couple of seconds and will react slower than usual as an after effect.
  • What is the best way to position the rearview mirror inside the Chrysler Town & Country?
Answer: The purpose of the rearview mirror is for the driver to see the road behind the rear window of the minivan. With this in mind, the mirror should be positioned wherein the road from behind should be reflected and seen by the driver. The best way to do this is by having the Chrysler Town & Country mirror face dead center of the vehicle.
  • What is wrong when the Chrysler Town & Country mirror on the front of the driver starts to get cloudy and brown?
Answer: When a rearview mirror becomes blurry and dark, it is most likely to be a damaged auto dim mirror--an electronically-controlled device used to reduce SUV glare. When this is encountered, it should be fixed or replaced immediately. A second-hand auto-dim mirror for Chrysler Town & Country can cost up to $45 online.
