"These bars look great on my Bronco, and will for years. They really are easy to install and very sturdy (I weigh 240 lbs, and they don't move when I step up into the truck). My only complaint is that the rear brackets (that clamp to the frame rail) are not the best quality. The nuts on these brackets are just spot welded in three places to the brackets. Mine broke off before I could apply any torque to clamp the bracket to the frame. I had a friend weld a nice solid bead all the way around the nuts, and they're bulletproof now. Overall, a great product. I would recommend these to anyone. Just watch out for those rear brackets." posted by: Big88Bronc on March 9, 2009

"Just what I needed for my 84 Chevy K5 Blazer Hobby Project - not only do they look great but they help my 5 1 wife climb into this tall truck.Would have given this five stars across the board but the instructions were all pictures with no words and I had a little trouble figuring out how the angle braces needed to go to support the bars below the frame. Once past that however installation was a breeze. Very happy with this product." posted by: Tennessee John on April 9, 2014

"I replace my original Nerf bars that were rusted out and forgot how nice the truck looks with them. The Dee Zee brand were the lowest priced bars I've found and they look great. It took all of about two hours to install and calling to make sure the parts list was not updated took the 30 minutes of that. The "O-Rings" listed have been replace with caps and they were embossed "Remove before installation" so I was a little confused. Once that was resolved, I used my pneumatic ratchet to knock-out the install. Time will tell on how well the hold-up in the woods, but for now I'm pleased with them." posted by: Beef on September 5, 2010 view all 5 reviews
