"The only problem with this window motor is that you can not use the original bolts. The holes are over size."

"I purchased only the motor/a mistake. Screws connecting to track on inside, (tuff on knuckles). The motor screws to the housing containing roller that holds the cable, the roller popped out unwinding the track-cable. I HOPE I REWOUND AND REINSTALLED IT CORRECTLY! It appears to work-and better than the other side. Next time I will buy it WITH the regulator. Quality and performance---too soon to tell, will depend on how well/correctly I rewound the cable!"posted by: Tom on August 14, 2009

"This is a genuine GM part. This is a direct factory replacement not a cheap imitation or a remanufactured part it is new. Tip: tape window in raised position and pull complete regulator with motor out and set on a bench being careful not to destroy cable adjustment. 7 10mm bolts and it folds up and comes right off!!! Also dont overtighten the window retainer brackets upon reinstallation or window can shatter. Too lose and the window will come off track!!!! Happy mechanicing!!!!!"posted by: Geno on September 7, 2012
