EBC – ORANGESTUFF BRAKE PAD SETS
EBC developed the Orangestuff series of pads in response to customers who wanted a brake pad designed specifically for the racetrack and the result is a high-friction compound that delivers strong initial bite but also stays effective at the extreme track temperatures. They feature a “Vee”-shaped groove to help evacuate dust and keep the pads cooler and they’ll last longer than most race pads because the compound is one of the hardest EBC has ever made. Centric Posi-Quiet Brake Pads are 100 percent asbestos-free and are made using the same positive molding process utilized by OE manufacturers, assuring consistent friction material density throughout the pad resulting in even wear and performance. These feature either precision cut or shaved backing plates to ensure proper fitting in the caliper, virtually eliminating noise associated with pad vibration. A special scorching process forces any impurities out of the friction material and accelerates the break-in process. This promotes earlier and more complete bed-in of the pads, thereby increasing their effective stopping power from the very first stop.
