"This regular class sensor is not sufficiently engineered to withstand the upstream high heat temperatures of being located in the exhaust manifold. The heater section of this 4 wire unit failed to perform after only 3 weeks of use and in so doing triggered a P-0135 Check engine code indicating heater system failure." posted by: mister2tim on January 28, 2013

"I ordered this to replace the upstream O2 sensor on my 1999 Ford Escort which was intermittently lighting its Check Engine light with the code P1131 Lack Of HO2S11 Switch - Sensor Indicates Lean . Other things can cause this but I gave up and replaced the sensor and that did the trick! The old one had 303 000 miles on it and had a lot of white crust on it. This sensor looks very different than the OEM and the part outside the manifold is bigger but it still fit my O2 socket and the connector and cable were just right. There was antiseize on the threads a nice touch. It looks like a quality part and fixed my problem." posted by: MarkT on July 17, 2014

"Installing them was a snap. It was the easiest part of doing a new exhaust system. Car runs great. And I was very impressed with how fast the sensors were delivered." posted by: Carbuff on November 7, 2009
