"I bought this part in early 2007 for my 2004 impala SS. I was in Twentynine Palms, CA. The weather is considerably hot and dry there. Not once did I over heat too much to where I needed to pull over or let my car cool off for a while. My engine performs a little better. After 5 years it has only needed cleaning once. I recommend this to anyone. Its well worth it." posted by: Karl on September 20, 2011

"All in all I would say this is a pretty good intake. When I crank up the engine I can hear the rush of air flowing in. On the highway the car feels a little more responsive and more powerful then it use to. I wish it had a top cover to keep engine heat out altogether. I'm going to cut out a hole in the wheelwell near the intake and put a screen so that I can get more cold air coming in." posted by: Gonzo on April 19, 2009 view all 3 reviews
