"Installed this item to activate the locking mechanism on a Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix rear hatch. The car did NOT have power door locks originally. It fit well and had plenty of power to engage and disengage the locking mechanism. Because it is a universal item and the car did not come with power locks, it did take a bit of trial and error to get it to fit and work properly but it was nothing that a "Saturday Mechanic" could not handle. If you do not understand how a two wire system needs to be wired, you would need to talk to someone who understands the basics of electrical circuits for some help. All together, an excellent product and a real bargain at this price. It has been in place for over a year now and has operated flawlessly."posted by: macts473 on June 5, 2012view all 2 reviews
"The two wire acctuator I purchased was the exact replacement for my vehicle. The only changes I had to make were on the two electrical connectors on the wiring. I Just cut them off and spliced them on to the wiring on my vehicle."posted by: BOBBY on September 24, 2010view all 5 reviews
"For the price these are unbeatable. Since they are universal they don't fit like OEM parts but look at the price. If you are a plug and go person you might want OEM parts, but if you can do a little fitting then purchase these. They work well and my Mercury now has three of them in place. I suggest that if you ever need to replace Window actuators that you replace the lock actuators while the door panels are off!"posted by: MG on September 9, 2010view all 5 reviews
