There will come a time that you'll have to replace the original short shifter of your vehicle. Short shifters are replaced because of two reasons: they're damaged or they don't offer enough style. If you're not satisfied with your vehicle's short shifter, then there's no need for you to worry because it's relatively easy to install a new one. If you own a Honda or Acura vehicle, you can follow the instructions below if you want to install a new short shifter.
Difficulty level: Moderate
- 12mm socket
- 12mm box wrench
- Floor jack
- Jack stands
