Purchasing just the motor requires some drilling/dis-assembly before installing the new motor. I found the supplied hardware to be smaller than I was comfortable with and I used rivets similar to the original assembly. If you don't have a good toolbox, don't opt for the motor only. Otherwise, I was pleased with price and performance.

Great price, easy to install and works like new. What more could you ask for. Feel free to ask me about the install, as I wish someone would have offered me. woodman1562@yahoo

You'll need extra hardware to install this motor, since it's difficult to find the exact spec replacement rivets. Other than that, the old motor/regulator comes out easy and the new one goes back in pretty easy. 2.5 hour job.

This was my second window motor. Learned from the last one.Removed door panel drilled hole through door and regulator and installed one quarter inch bolt, then used seven eight hole saw and drilled over bolts that held motor in used socket to remove and reinstall bolts regulator was never removed and didn't move.Took longer to get door panel off than replacing motor.

The new window motor is exactly as the original. I didn't use the small bolts that were supplied. I used larger diameter bolts instead; very frustrating to install some of the bolts. And now that it's mounted and I know that it works properly, I will get replacement rivets. A very good deal.

Make sure you have 1/4 rivets and a rivet gun for then to replace the factory originals holding the motor and regulator. If not, you can use 1/4-20 nuts and bolts, but they are much harder to install.
