I initially replaced my Cabin air filter with a non-Charcoal activated filter a year ago. I quickly noticed a moldy/dirty sock smell when I initially turned on my A/C that would go away after a minute but it was still pretty nasty and embarrassing as the inside of my car was very clean! I replaced my cabin filter with this Bosch unit with Activated Charcoal. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! No more nasty smell at all! My old filter wasnt even that dirty but it simply was not filtering out smells like this one does! Definitely worth the extra money for the Activated Charcoal!!!
