Hey, it is a knock sensor, a necessary evil. I have to compliment this operation on having this part in my hands in less than a day. They shipped my part from a nearby warehouse so the free shipping was as good as over-night. The shipping notification email was sent to me the evening I ordered the part. Decided to replace the knock sensor myself after checking my Chilton Manual for installation procedure. Product arrived NEXT DAY!! Couldn't believe it. Installation was a pain, but only because of the part location in the engine and a bolt that wouldn't budge. Still, only took 25 minutes. Overall the sensor was a great price and arrived amazingly quick. No complaints.

The part is fine, there's no need for a review. What you need to know is that you will need a 12mm socket wrench AND a 10 to 12 inches extension because the location under the hood is as always, tight.... and perhaps a breaking bar. Once you got it out, just drop in the new one, connect the wires, reset the SES light and you are good to go. I think it worth to try to connect the wires before you drop in the new part, because like I said, the space is pretty tight.

Received the knock sensor a couple of days after ordering. Took about 15 min. to replace the old with the new (the manual helped), the check engine light went off after a couple of cycles, passed emissions test. All is well.

Very easy to install, even for a girl, the hardest part for me was loosening the one bolt on the old sensor. Had to have an extension on my 12mm ratchet to get to it but went fine. Check engine light went off after third restart.
