This sensor did not work in a 2001 Volvo V70. I learned later that Volvos are very touchy and only OEM sensors work not universal.

I was told by several repair shops including a Lexus dealer that this o2 sensor would be a very poor choice for a Lexus, because the splicing would decrease the appility of the O2 sesor to function. I am returning the product today via the USPS priority mail

No shipping charge and great instructions. Did not use the connector supplied-too bulky. Used crimp connectors-cannot solder stainless steel wire-and it all worked out fine.

Great part for anyone who knows how to use a soldering iron and shrink wrap. I guess if you really have to, the supplied connector kit would work but I would not use something that big and kludgey. The O2 sensor itself is exaclty the same as the OEM part. Great money saver for the competent mechanic who can handle electrical work also.

this is a great product. i won't buy OEM again! Bosch did an excellent job of making sure that this was an easy installation. My only caveat to teh buyer, find ou which wire is your signal wire on your original harness. thats it. this is a great product that saved me about $120!

even though it came with a plug it still was universal.the wire diagram was a bit difficult but we got it done. the price was about 1/2 of what you would pay in a parts store.

It was simple to match the universal connector wires to the old connector. Wire colors were exact on my 2000 a4 AWM 1.8 o2 sensor before cat, and it was $60+ cheaper than exact fit o2 sensors!

Easy swap once OE wire color codes are deciphered. Bosch wire color chart must have been set up by an engineer. Info is actually in there, though I still verified it through several sources. Wire connector housing is freaking HUGE and won't fit through Sidekick JS body access hole so be sure to set it up the way you want before cutting wires. And be sure to disconnect the negative battery cable (preferably before swap) so check engine light will reset.
