K&N is the best air filter on the market hands down. I installed two of them into my Crossfire and immediately noticed the increase in performance and my engine seemed to react better and simply run smoother. I would recomend upgrading to a K&N especially since the original Chrysler air filters cost the same amount and they are standard paper. For the same price, why not get a superior product? The recharging process overall takes about 3-4 hours so it would be up to you whether you want to take the time to recharge or just buy new ones every 50k miles, but either way, stay with the K&N...your car will thank you.

No better way to save money then to buy this lifelong filter. Too bad that the auto manufacturers don't install theses as OEM. This should be the first thing you buy for any new or used car. How can you go wrong?!!

This product was very easy to install on my Chrysler Crossfire(2 reguired) and improved the sound of the intake. I am assuming the less resricted air flow has some positive affect on HP and MPG and at $3.45 per gallon in the D.C. area, thats a good thing.
