I recently bought a 71 Ranchero with a reupholstered seat and wanted to be able to bring the pooch along without her ruining it. The pet pad goes on in two minutes and we are on the road. Her hair does not seem to stick to it like everything else she gets close to and if her feet are muddy it hoses right off. I added longer straps that go under the bottom of the seat so that it covers a little better keeps it from getting bunched up. Wish I had some photos to go with this.

Not designed for 1997 Town Car by , June 27, 2012

This pad is not intended for use in my 1997 Town Car. There was nothing to secure it to so basically, it is useless to me. This pad is intended for vehicles that have adjustable back headrests that you can secure it to and my vehicle does not have this. The pad itself is a well made quality product, just not for my particular vehicle.

Best that I found by Dufis, April 29, 2012

This is a very good cover to keep your seats clean and free of pet hair. Easy to install and remove when not needed. Cleans better that any blanket I have used. I found that using the connectors on the seat back and elastic band on the bottom was best for my vehicle. Only giving this a four star overall rating due to the seat belt cut outs not matching where the seat belts connect and doesn't overlap the front of the seat. Cover stays in place for my Labrador and adds more cushion for her to lay on.

The cover is as described. The attachment straps are thin and could be manufactured thicker and more durable. As is, there is high probability of ripping the srap from the cover when attaching to headrests.

I purchased the cover to protect my car seats. however, it didn't fit as well as I'd hoped. The pad kept slipping to expose the seat. However it still provides more protection than I had before.

I have two very hairy, active dogs who are constantly in and out of the car. They have successfully removed every seat cover I have ever had, except this one. It definitely holds up to mud, dirt, sand, water, and anything else they decide to get into when we're outdoors. Then, just rinse off and hang dry and it's like new! Plus, I no longer have to worry about hair, etc, between the back of the seat and the bench, this covers it! It is also extremely easy to remove, which means I can once again use my back seat for friends.

I would recommend this item to anyone. The dog loves it! Washed item in washing machine, cold cycle, looks like new!
