This tank was a smart buy. I previously had a cheaper knock-off installed that didn't hold pressure. The threads on the top of this tank are solid and the cap fits snug as a bug. Solved my overheating issues. Would have preferred to know that the cap was included, as I ordered a separate one.. but now I have a spare that is made for the tank, so not such a bad thing.

The Crown tank is a perfect fit and finish replacement for the factory Jeep tank. My first replacement for the factory tank was also a Crown. It failed about two years sooner than the factory unit. The failure could have been a tank issue or possibly a reflection on the aging of the mounting strap. Nonetheless the first Crown was replaced with another and the mounting strap has been replaced. Hopefully the life of this tank will exceed the Jeep's.
