This window regulator was a exact factory match. I replaced it after the original was used every day for ten years. This one looks like it will last another ten years. It came to me on time and was packaged very safely no damage.

I bought this for my driver's side window on my 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab. This is the 2nd time I have replaced it, but the first time I had the dealer do it for over $300. This time I decided to do it myself and had it installed under an hour for less than $100. No modification to the hole patterns were needed, as I had read in some reviews. Only time will tell how durable this one will be, but after several weeks I've had no issues.

Once I figured out how to take the door panel and regulator/motor off it was easy to reinstall. I left the window glass in the bottom of the door until the new regulator/motor was hand tightened and in place. I then taped the glass in the up position, re-connected the battery to run the regulator up to the window and then lowered it down to secure the window to the regulator, tightened all the screws. Also it helps to remove the top rubber molding (where your arm rests when your window is down) so you can see that the window channel is in correctly.

The unit didn't line up exactly. There is slight movement in the window despite my adjustments. Good product for the price. I saved $325 is the dealer did the repair.

very happy with the replacement Dorman window regulator I bought for my 1999 Durango. Easier installation than I thought, took about 45 min start to finish. The only tricky part was disconnecting the window from the old regulator as it was hard to reach because I could not move window to line up with the access holes. Only negative was I had to drill couple new holes to mount the motor but the included template made this easy.

this item was a verry nice purchase , it comes all fully assembeled, bolts right in to place, it took me about ten min. to install . It did not come with any installation instructions but I kept the old one and that made the job easy, once you figure out how it goes
