While overkill for most owners of Ford Escapes, I do a TON of mountain pass driving in Colorado, and really put my brakes through the ringer on a day to day basis and want the best performing brakes I could get. Picked these up to quell my need for a good set of pads. After trying so many other brands and compounds (Hawk, Satisfied, Akebono, ProStop, and NAPA generics) these pads are far and away the best pads I have used. they have phenomenal power, feels like they could rip the front-end right out from underneath the vehicle. Their initial bite is great, and power increases progressively as heat and pressure build. Pedal input is very light. These pads accompanies with the EBC dimpled and slotted sport rotors provide a very firm smooth brake pedal feel. Couldn't be happier! you get what you pay for with these!
