Be patient removing old exhaust system; use PB Blaster and a breaker bar to remove old exhaust nuts. Use stainless clamps to reattach heat shields from old system. Adapted the original converter heat shield to fit on on new but differently shaped converter. Came with new flange gaskets; use them. Read Eastern webpage for breakin of new converter. I like others first replaced O2 sensors then got a MIL light and a 4020 OBII code and then replaced catalytic converter. Great price direct fit and after 400 miles no engine MIL light on the dash. Took me 3 hours total. Used jack stands and a good hydraulic 3 ton jack. Need some patience and some mechanical skill to install. Will save you $1000 easily.

Who would have thought that our Sienna van purchased new near Pittsburgh, PA would have California emissions? We only discovered this after this cat converter 40369 would not fit and we were directed to check under the hood for a decal that stated that the van had California emissions. We reordered 40395 and it fit fine. The note in the product description: "49-state legal; Not for sale or use in California; Cannot be shipped to California addresses", lead me to believe that I was ordering the correct part. Live and learn.

Most importantly, the computer coded correctly on this product. The dealer parts guy warns that some of the inexpensive c-converters won't code up and you should buy the Genuine Toyota part for $1400. This one did. After the problem causing the check engine light to come on is resolved, it takes approx. 50 engine starts for the computer to reset. Good Luck!! Be Safe++++

With quotes from my dealer of $2300 and local muffler shop for $800 and dire warnings about aftermarket quality I was pleasantly surprised with this unit. Fit was excellent, quality good. Delivery was about 1 week via UPS.

No one wants to buy a catalytic converter for a 9 year old vehicle, but this direct fit converter fit my budget as well as my car. It's been on for 2 weeks, and the 'check engine' light hasn't come on, so I know it works right. Local stores wanted 3 times as much. Great deal!!

Great fitment and textbook installation. It came with metal y-pipe to header gaskets as well as the large gasket for the y-pipe to the mid pipe.

No problem installing, bolts right up. The protective foam on the ends was a pain to remove. Had the gaskets, but no bolts\nuts as promised.
