I put these in my Vtwin motorcycle in November. In March the bike quit running. Took it to a dealer and all he had to do to get it running was put normal plugs in it. Hope nothing permanently damaged. Told a friend about it after the fact and he described the same trouble with his Chevy truck. His mechanic said they burn extra hot and mess up the computer sensors.

I replaced my 10 year old ----- Platinum +4 spark plugs which I was still getting 38 MPG highway with over 225k miles. After replacing with E3, my MPG fell to 32 MPG highway. Disappointed to say the least. I'm returning and going back to a new set of +4's.

Would have been easier to install if my car's spark plugs were more accessible.

Notice the difference immediately over the Bosch platinum. The ride. Engine performance and acceleration. All improve. Thank you

I bought 2 different sets for both of my vehicles. One set went on my wife's Safari van. They worked up to and far above any claims made about them. Performance was increased by almost 30%, fuel economy has jumped almost 25% so far. The other set were for my 2007 Dodge Ram Pickup 4.7 Flex Fuel. DON'T BUY THEM. Almost immediately I started getting multiple codes coming up. Multiple misfires, closed fuel loops, O2 sensor efficiency, etc. a total of 8 codes. All my coils were checked, as were my O2 sensors along with any other supporting possible problems. Everything checked out in working order. My fuel economy dropped to less than 7 MPG. As well as my performance drastically declined. I had constant hesitation also.I replaced the plugs with the old set and almost all the problems disappeared immediately. (Yes, I cleaned all coils and surrounding areas before installation.) Needless to say, they are not for Dodge Pickups.

I installed these E-Plugs in a 2001 2.0 VW Beetle. Initially they worked well but fouled out very quick giving check engine light codes. Replaced them with same plug and again failed about 10K miles. Replaced with generic Champion plug and got 40K and still running. Plug is just not very reliable, poor quality.

I've noticed in the past few months that my car seemed to start a little bit more rough than it used to. Along with that, the idling was a little rough and the acceleration seemed a bit sluggish starting from a dead stop. I finally decided to get off my butt and replace the spark plugs. After doing some research, I decided on getting the E3 spark plugs. I'm very glad I made that decision because the car performs much nicer now. I'm sure that I could have gotten similar performance gains from a less expensive plug, but I figured you get what you pay for in the long run. The idle is EXTREMELY smooth and the throttle response is much quicker and more responsive. Overall, I would say that this is a good purchase. I've read some reviews elsewhere that said they weren't very great in small engine cars (that particular review was a Pontiac Bonneville 3.8l) but my car has a little 2.0l in it and these plugs work perfectly fine. Also, be aware that they are a FIXED GAP so you can't adjust them to the factory recommended .44mm.

E3 Spark Plugs Live Up to Their Claims! by Saturn Man, July 25, 2009

E3 Spark Plugs seemed to be everywhere when they first came out and then just disappeared. I was intrigued and wanted to try them but appeared to have missed my opportunity. Man am I glad I finally got the chance to put them in my car! I now have more power, torque, and throttle response in my '99 SC2 than ever before! And to top it off, I am even getting better gas mileage! I would certainly recommend using E3 Spark Plugs to anyone looking to improve the performance of their automobile.
