These look like the original and the price cant be beat. If you get the power version be prepared to do some wire splicing. The pigtail is too short. Its not hard to do just figure what wires work with your power control for the adjustments. Easy to install in the original location and the fit is exact.

After 9 years the drivers side-view mirror became cloudy and difficult to use. I was a bit reluctant to buy online but any concern bout the part, quality, being OEM quaily were quickly laid to rest when the part arrived on time in great shape! Was very pleased with the entire experience.

I'm not a do-it-yourselfer, but the dealer wanted to charge me almost $500 to replace the mirror! So for the on-line price, I thought it was worth a try. The mirror assembly fit perfectly, and worked just fine right out of the box. The only issue I have is that the unit is all black, and my original mirror (and the one on the passenger side) have a color-matched front plate, so it doesn't match exactly, but looks good enough. It might be possible just to switch out the actual mirror piece, but it looked like it would be a pain in the butt, and possibly would ruin the whole thing while trying, so I didn't. The plastic interior panel just pries off, and snaps back on, so it was easy to gain access to the bolts that hold the mirror in place. Someone else suggested to cover the gap into the door panel with duct tape so you don't lose the nuts. This was an excellent suggestion.

I emphasize the caution by Louise to place tape over the door cavity below the three nuts. I dropped two of them during the process and both would now be living inside the door! Piece of cake to install!

I have a 2001 Chevy Suburban, this mirror matched perfectly in every detail. Same black rough finish as original, same connector, courtesy light, everything. Took all of 4 min. to change old mirror to new one. Pop cover off from inside, undo three bolts, unplug connector, remove mirror. Place new mirror back in holes (keep old bolts you remove, new mirror does not come with bolts.) Bolt down, plug connector in, place foam piece back in, pop cover back on, test mirror your done.

Very easy to install; took me about 15 minutes. Keep the old nuts as mirror does not include replacements. Put tape over holes in door so nuts do not fall inside (Murphy's Law would apply here). Saved about $200 from dealer's quote.

Received the replacement part about 4 working days after ordering it. This mirror replaced the drivers side on a 2001 Suburban, that had hit another truck mirror that was traveling in the other direction at about 40 mph. Although there weren't even basic installation directions, it was pretty easy to replace. Slid a screwdriver under the plastic triangle on the inside of the door where the mirror is, and it just pops right off. remove the foam triangle. Disconnected the wire cable. Removed the nuts (be very careful not to drop them inside the door). pull the old mirror off, put the new in it's place. Put nuts back on the new mirror, connect cable, replace foam triangle, and snap plastic triangle back in place. in all, it took less than a half hour to replace the old with the new. works as it is supposed to, and is identical to the original.

A perfect replacement mirror and easy to install. A previous review made comment that the forward panel did not match his vehicles color as per original. However, if you feel this is necessary, and the original mirror body is still intact, this panel can be prised off as it is secured by three clips and a few pieces of double sided tape. Prise off the black panel of the new mirror, and replace it with the vehicle's original.

The replacement mirror looks just like the original. I did have to remove the back grained cover to insert the original pewter cover. I was hoping that I would not break it while unsnapping it. It would be nice if the grained cover came separate.

Easy to install...simply remove inside triangle piece by pulling out from the top, then lift off. Put a rag below bolts so they don't fall inside door when you remove. 10 mm Socket... 15 minutes tops!

Note: remember to keep the nuts from the old mirror since the replacements do not come with new nuts. Also recommend stuffing a rag in the door panel hole so nuts do not fall inside the door frame. This mirror is so close to original equipment it's scary. I replaced an auto dimming mirror that went bad. I replaced the unit in about 15 minutes and for about 1/5 the cost of OE. It works great and looks good.

I ordered this mirror assembly because the original broke where I fold it in every day. The one I ordered is for a 2002 avalanche 1500, in all black. The mirror comes complete with glass and a wiring connection that fits perfect. Looks, works, and fits just like the original mirror. The installation took about 15 minutes, including removing the old one. Unfortunately there were no instructions that come with the mirror. However, after you snap off the inside cover on the door, its only 3 bolts to remove and replace. Would definitely purchase again.
