This was so much better than paying two arms and a leg at the dealership to replace. The installation was smooth and not very difficult. It comes with a piece of foam liner (self adhesive) but no instructions what to do with it. I figured out that it was for lining around the inside connectors by looking at the one I pulled off. My only complaint (minor) is that the top of the plastic does not curve with the door, so it sticks out about 3-4 mm. After a couple weeks, I don't notice it anymore, but the piece is definitely not water tight (making that inner foam liner more important).

Installation is a pain because you have to take the door apart in order to hook the mirror up.
