I was surprised at the sound of the exhaust from this header on a four cylinder engine & my 4Runner accelerated much faster while I experienced better fuel economy. There was some minimal fabrication / alteration to the flange where it met the head & you'll need a grinder. Installation took about an hour & a half & I was able to bolt it up to my existing exhaust without much trouble. I highly recommend this aftermarket part / upgrade as well worth the cost & effort. A+
