install was easy when you power up the radio antenna goes up but when you shut it down it doesnt go back down like it should. Need to return item.

I still haven't been able to finally install it. I thought I had it but the installation was not tight enough. The hole from the old antenna was too big for the materials provided. There were no instructions so it was a lot of trial and error. Washers that would work were not normal and difficult to find. The electronic antenna went up one time and stayed up. It works for reception but it is supposed to retract.

My mechanic installed the antenna but the mast would not automatically retract when the radio was turned off. The product was not made for a 1989 Chrysler New Yorker. I am returning the product for a refund. Thank You.

The unit came with no instructions, no diagrams, the wrong mounting brackets, no pre-wired connectors. You have to improvise the entire installation - which will take you two or three hours instead of 15 minutes.

very disappointed for my suv infiniti at the beginning they should advertised it as UNIVERSAL antenna so with that on mind i would not buy it.

Not able to use yet as needan adapter to plug into the antenna lead from my radio.doesn't fit contour of body well or the factorty mount. Had to silicone mount as spacer under mounting screws does not fit plastic mount correctly. would return but have cut ends off wiring to connect

I had someone install the antenna. It wasnt' the same part as the original, so there was some fanagling to get the part to work with my car. Installation should have been easy and quick, but took several hours to complete and the antenna still won't go down when the radio is turned off.

For someone who has the mechinical skillsto fabricate a bracket for a Volvo 760 GLE it would probaly work fine.

Antenna does not fit this vehicle. I had to manufacture my own mount and had to pull pieces off the original one or it wouldn't even go up straight. I had to run all new wires also.
