Even thought the site mentioned that this lighter fits the ML lighter socket since the socket is in the middle (between the seats) dash/console the lighter head was to tall to close the lid on the dash. It was not the lighter for the ML 320 between seat dash/console.

it says minor ajustments to make it fit then maybe it should come with insructions to help with that i'm not tring to light my car on fire. just trying to chrage my phone

Cigarette Lighter is for Sienna models from 1998 thru 2012. I purchased it for 2008 model and it does not fit. Can not attach with electrical cables despite modification. It may be useful for older models but not for older. I took it to the mechanic and he even could not fix it. I will not recommend this producct to anyone.

After removing several panels to get the panel off that has the lighter in it, I was able to remove the lighter receptacle that was inoperative and replace it with the new one and rewire it to the fuse panel. The new one worked as expected. As a replacement lighter I would recommend this one for the cost was pretty low.

My OEM lighter had a light inside the socket. None on the replacement. The wire lead was crimped ONLY to the insulation, not to the wire - the connection had to be rebuilt. Bottom line. It works, but took more work than it should and there is now no light inside the socket. Would have gladly paid a bit more to have the light included. The wire connection should have been checkd before shipment.

The lighter looks of good quality but it does not fit the Mercedes Benz 240D, 1982. I will save it in case I can use it on another car.
