2002 BMW 325xi Fuel Pump Replacement: This was one of the easiest jobs I have ever done on any car. Simply remove the back seat Remove 4 10mm nuts and cover unplug your old pump Be sure to vacume any dirt and debris out of the top of the pump now to avoid it falling in your tank when you remove the pump remove the retainer ring and slide your pump out. Be careful installing the new pump into the tank. Be sure to place your old gasket from the old pump into the tank before installing the new pump apply and tighten retainer ring plug in your harness put the 4-10mm nuts back on the cover install the seat and your done. Overall job can be done in 20-30 Min. with minimum tools and experience. ( I should also note that it would be best to disconnect the battery To avoid any shorts or fires while unplugging your wire harness )
