This fuel pump is quite and Engine runs great so far. It comes with extra harness plug that you may have to cut your old one off and replace it with new one.

I just installed this unit and had very good success. I unbolted the bed and lifted just the driver side to gain access to the pump. Easy swap however the o-ring that the new unit came with is a harder rubber and couldnt make it seat properly. I just used the old o-ring as it was in good shape and it installed easily. Took less than two hours and thought it was going to be a big job. Very happy!

The lip where the o-ring gasket sits was not beveled like the original equipment part on my 98 S10. Consequently, I could not get the pump to seat deep enough to reapply the retaining ring. I had to actually shave a bevel on the o-ring to get the pump seated deep enough to apply the retaining ring.
