this chrome grille with a painted center installed without any problems and improved the looks of my truck, where the OEM grille had a big hole in it. It is cheaper than the OEM by a long ways but will do the job. The only real negative is that the center is just chrome sprayed over with black paint and it wasn't prepped at all and the paint doesn't stick very well. (I re-did the paint)
