The quality and ease of installation make it a no brainer. The price was very reasonable and the benefits of seeing better at night are great! If your headlights are scarred up or cracked I recommend you buy new ones!

Good headlights; Garbage Bulbs by , November 17, 2011

These headlight enclosures fit perfectly in a '03 Focus SE Wagon, and are almost an exact match of the OEM part. With high beams on, there's a slight striping effect on the road caused by the angles of the mirrors and lenses, but overall the lenses and mirrors work beautifully. The only downside (and the reason they lose a star) is that the included bulbs are basically worthless. If you're going to order one of these, I strongly recommend also ordering a high-end halogen bulb. Installation Notes: In order to get the old headlights out, you'll have to remove some other stuff first. You'll need a 10MM socket wrench with an extension, and a pack of replacement push pins. First, there's a piece of plastic that goes across the front of the car between the headlights that's got the hood latch poking up through it. That's held in place by four push pins, two of which also hold the air intake on the driver's side. Once that's out of the way, you'll need to remove the plastic grille that holds your blinkers and the Ford logo. It's held in place with two bolts on each side, one on top and one on the bottom. Once you've got the bolts out, pull the grille forward gently and let it hang by the cables. You should now have enough wiggle room to get the headlights out. Finally, there is a bolt on the bottom of the headlight that is virtually impossible to see unless you know it's there. Jack up the car enough to get under the front bumper and look for the cable that powers the side marker light. Directly above that is the hidden bolt, screwed in horizontally and with the head facing the fender. I had to unpack my new headlight and look at the bottom to see where this bolt was. Total time to change both headlights without any prior knowledge of the above gotchas: an hour and a half, during which time I actually removed and reinstalled one of the fenders to look for that hidden bolt.

The replacement headlight is an excellent replacement of the standard OEM headlight. The fit, finish, looks and light output are equal to, if not better than the factory original!
