This was the least expensive unit I could find. About $30 other sites were $100 and up the dealer wanted $180. So I was expecting to get a cheaper part and having to modify it to fit. To my surprise I think this unit looked a better built than the OEM And on the install it fit perfect. This was the first time I paid less money and got a better product.

This part is indistinguishable from the OEM version that broke, which a good thing because it costs half of the OEM part. It fits and works perfectly. The only downside is... it's indistinguishable from the OEM part - which means it will break someday. Not a big deal though given the price and ease of replacement.

This part worked almost flawlessly. The problem was after I installed it and was testing it the cable on the top pulley portion came off the roller and got jammed up. This resulted in having to uninstall everything again and figure out what happened. This issue on this part if that the top guide that's suppose to overlap the roller has too big of a gap and it allowed the cable to come off the roller and get jammed. I simply hammered the small metal piece that's suppose to overlap the roller almost to the point of it touching. This way there would be no way for the cable to come off of the roller. Aside from that just make sure you lubricate the part completly and work the slide up and down. There wasn't any lubrication on the part so it was extremely hard to move the slide up and down. I still recommend the part because it's a lot cheaper then the OEM.

Unit is installed and working properly, however, the mounting studs were not the same thread pattern, thus disallowing use of the pre-existing nuts from the factory equipment to mount this replacement. I had to run to the hardware store to get matching hardware. Solution:include mounting nuts with the unit.
