Not quite what I was expecting by Jean, March 3, 2014

These turned out to be Taiwanese made brackets. At first look they looked great. Fresh black paint on them. I held it up to the old one and they appeared to be the same. I marked all my holes on the door for quicker installation. When I started bolting there is a small braket that stabalizes the regulator on the door. From bolt hole to bolt hole on the new bracket it measured 7 even. The old bracket AND the holes on the door (of course) measured 7 1/4 . So it didn t fit. Since everything else was right I went ahead and drilled a hole in the door so it would bolt up. Got that installed and plugged up. Got the glass fitted and bolted in. It went up and down fine but I do not like the fact that my window still sticks out of the door when all the way down unlike the stock one. I only recommend this if you have no other options...I would strongly suggest tracking down oem (which I assumed incorrectly was what these were) and spending a little more. The car this was being installed on was a 95 Honda civic.

This unit when made did not have the helper spring boss so that the spring on the old one could be added to it to help assist the motor in the roll up of the window. it still worked quite well but the spring would help the motor last longer. Thanks
