This rad came to me as a new item but had obviously been handled before as it had black grease marks on it from previous handling which should have been an indication that something was up . After install I still had a leak but now on the opposite side of the rad . After a bit of checking around found out that the coolant temp sensor was unable to be seated correctly due to the fact that there was excess plastic material covering the brass insert in the rad from original manufacture. Fortunately was able to correct this and now no more leaks....
