Parts received were missing most of the mounting hardware. Also mounting bolt did not fit my 2002 Grand Laredo Jeep. Returning parts.

The Stabilus lift supports fit my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee perfectly. Installation took about 15 minutes. I had replaced the original lift supports once before using Jeep parts purchased from the dealer for twice the price. Those failed after 3 years and did not have a lifetime warranty. Be careful - after installing the new supports, the rear hatch opened so smoothly and quickly, it almost hit me in the face the first time I tried it out!

I don't fix cars and this was pretty easy. All that was needed was something to prop the liftgate up and a narrow flathead screw driver.

This product was easy to install, I am a 47 year old women and installed these myself. It is nice to finally not have my tail gate hit me in the head. The price was affordable too.

Very easy for anyone to install. I put these on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I couldn't be happier with them. The factory shocks failed to hold up the lift gate, where as, these actually spring the lift gate open! Great product, strongly recommend.

I am not a mechanic - and I finally figured out how ti install the STABILUS GAS-CHARGED TRUNK LIFT SUPPORT in my Jeep Grand Cherokee's rear lift gate. It was not difficult but it took this old non-mechanic some time.

Took only five minutes to install and works very well. Only knock is the factory bolts don't fit the new part.

These lifts work as well as the original but are perhaps a bit too energetic as it lifts the tailgate with a snap: so much so that the lift-gate now slams into my raised overhead door in my garage. This isn't a problem if I keep a hand on the tailgate when opening the lift-gate in a confined space. I had to buy a star bit to remove the original bolts in the door but the entire replacement took less than 5 minutes.
