The muffler as was purchased cannot be used right away. It needs gasket and other interconnection parts. It may be OK for someone experienced.

A nice, inexpensive muffler, but the muffler is shorter, a little fatter, and has 3 inch inlet-outlets. I had to modify the muffler strap, and buy reducers to make it fit my OEM system. Can't say anything about the durability. I just installed it a week ago. The sound is very slightly louder than the original (I should say slightly bassy, not louder). The sound is nice. If you want young kid, racy loudness, maybe reversing the muffler would give you more of a sound you would want, but I don't know. A good muffler (so far) at a good price.

Got this muffler for my 00' Cherokee - sounds great! Very similar to the sound of the stock muffler, but heavier. Really good buy, not only cheap, but well put together.

i bought 2 and put them on my 1966 mustang coupe with a 302 in it. true dual Exhaust, put them just before the rear wheels, and had 4"x15" echo chambers on the rear. anyways, very quiet at first.. but it was a hotrod.. after about 3 weeks it blew out the inside and made it sound like a awesome flowmaster.. if not better.. it sounded mean! everyone liked them and always asked what they was. *me spraying water into them and letting it sit for about 30 mins then flying up and down the road at 6000RPM didnt help none!* d;D

the muffler was shipped in great shape, with a thrush sticker! I installed it on my 04 titan, 5.6l and it fit perfectly. in my opinion, it was quieter than i expected. it sounded slightly louder than stock. the quieter muffler is actually preferable now, as the cab is quieter on long rides. i will buy another when it is time to replace the current exhaust system.
