The mats are of excellent quality, thick but flexible. My main complaint is that, while they were a fairly close fit for my 1998 323is , I do not consider the mats as made for the car. It was close, they are more like universal mats. holding hardware does not fit this car.

The mats are of excellent quality, thick but flexible. My main complaint is that, while they were a fairly close fit for my 2004 Mini Cooper S, I had to cut the driver's side mat in two places to get it to fit properly. It was close, but had to have a corner cut slightly on the left side. A slightly bigger problem was fitting it around the footrest beneath the gas pedal. Without cutting a notch in it, it would not lie flat, and would interfere with the clutch pedal operation. I had a choice between sending them back, and making some modifications with a knife. Not major, but it was a bit annoying that I had to do it when it was supposed to fit that car.
